Workshops
Many
teachers have no need to obtain graduate credit, yet wish to enhance
their knowledge in economics, while interesting their students in engaging,
educational activities. The center offers a variety of workshops at
each grade level for teaching economics.
Teachers may attend presentations on specific curriculum programs published
by the University of Missouri-St. Louis, programs distributed by the National
Council on Economic Education, or specific topics, such as international trade
or the environment.
Workshops are held on the UM-St. Louis campus or may be presented at any school
district site. For further information regarding on-site workshops, call 314-516-5248
or send an electronic message.
